Snow precautions for bulb planting

This is the reason I plant hyacinth, crocus, florist cyclamen , anemone, ranunculus, iris reticulata and daffodils in pots and keep them on our porch for their bloom time and encourage you to do the same.

There is something very comforting about seeing the vibrant colors of these late winter bloomers under the protection of the front porch with the snow falling beyond.
